Welcome to the November
Close To My Heart
Stamp of the Month Blog Hop
In this month's hop, almost 40 consultants are sharing their visions of how we can use
this great 17 piece New Year celebration and resolution-setting stamp set.
If you have arrived here from Donna's blog you're on the right path.
To see all the blogs on this hop, just look for the link at the end of each blog entry.
This month I've used this stamp along with coordinating images from the new CTMH
Artistry cartridge (p.50) to create a scrapbook layout to capture the memories of our
annual New Year's Eve party with dear friends. I used several of the
stamps from this set to create a random stamped pattern for the layout.
I had several pieces of the random stamped paper left over,
so I made a few New Year cards as well.
Here's a close up in an effort to show the shimmer on this layout. The glitter paper,
was used for the title, champagne, and banner. One thing you might not notice on larger picture is the shimmer on the champagne glasses which was achieved with Liquid Glass.
I hate to throw away any scraps of the beautiful glitter paper, so I punch little circles
out of the scraps to use as embellishments. You'll also notice that I scored and sanded
one of the pieces of peacock card stock used on this layout.
Here are two of the cards I made using scraps from the random stamped paper.
Supplies used are all CTMH products available on my website
Cardstock: Peacock, Crystal Blue, White Daisy, Black
Other Paper: Teal Glitter Paper, Grey Glitter Paper
Inks: Peacock, Crystal Blue, Versa Mark
Other Materials: Silver Foil Tape, Liquid Glass,
Ranger Super Fine Silver Embossing powder, Thin 3-D Foam Tape
and Silver Shimmer Trim.
Cricut Cartridge: Artistry (p.50)
