Here's to You
Welcome to our special blog hop featuring the four stamps that are a part of the
The four stamps are included in the workshop, or can be purchased separately.
A blog hop is just one big loop of fun, creative ideas. If you are coming from Haley's blog you're on the right path. If you are starting here, just look for the link to Krista's blog at the end of my post. Each blog you visit will feature a link to continue following the hop. If you get disconnected somewhere along the way, you can find a complete list of blog hop participants here.
A friend that I scrap and make cards with challenged several people in our crop group to a monthly card making challenge. She sends 4 card patterns at the beginning of the month and asks us to join in and see the variety of cards we can create with the patterns she chooses by the end of the month.
Well, I decided to use her challenge to go with this blog hop. Some of the patterns were out of my usual card design comfort zone. I paired up the stamps from this promotion with the Central Park paper pack and some coordinating cardstock. I also used the Central Park sequins.
These are the cards I came up with.
Here's a closer look at each of the cards.
On this card, the sentiment wouldn't fit on the piece from the design,
so I decided to put the sentiment on vellum. I really liked how it worked out.
I used Archival Ink to stamp on the vellum. I attached the vellum
using dots of liquid glue under the larger printed words.

I loved the sunshine pattern on this paper from the from the Central Park
paper pack to go with this sentiment. The little dots in the design
were made using ShinHan markers. The faux stitching was done
with a fine line gel pen.
The pattern for this card was a particular challenge to me as there were to be
3 pieces spaced along the bar. I have them a little closer together
than they were on the pattern I was given.

Here's one more card that I made that uses an old go-to pattern
I like to use for cards. This one was not part of the challenge
from my friend.
