This month's stamp set, Just Treats, one of my favorite stamp sets, features 22 holiday related stamps and is available only through the month of September. You are really going to want to add this one to your collection because it is so versatile and will be used over and over again. You can purchase this set for $18.95, or get it for only $5 with a qualifying order of $50 (US) through your Close To My Heart consultant or find it here.
It was so exciting to dig into the new CTMH Holiday Expressions paper packs to match up the various holiday stamps in this set with brand new papers. I am so in love! Take a peek when you have a chance.
For my first card, I chose paper from the Grateful Heart paper pack
for a friendship or Thanksgiving card.
You can see the Grateful Heart paper pack here. You will love it!
My next selection for the Halloween card is the Hello Pumpkin paper pack.
The bats on this cards were popped with foam tape. It probably doesn't show on this photo, but the bats are shiny. Covering them with liquid glass made them look like epoxy sticker and made them a little sturdier. I used the new Thin Cuts stitched circle for the sentiment circle and a ShinHan marker to accentuate the stitch marks. |
The tidings of comfort and joy stamp is a great match with the
'Tis the Season paper pack.
Additional supplies used to make this card were ShinHan markers, foam tape (to pop the center of the circle), White Shimmer Trim, and Clear Sparkles. |
Another colorful paper pack Oh, What Fun worked well with this wintery stamp.
Here's a close-up of the sparkles I colored with a ShinHan markers to embellish this card. You really can't see how they shine in this photo, but it's a technique I often use to make sparkles match what I am creating.
